Howard Parrish

Waynesville-Howard Bronson Parrish, age 92, of Abbey's Cove Road, formerly of Ocala, Florida, died Wednesday, October 08, 2003 at Haywood Regional Medical Center.

A native of Hartford, Alabama, having lived most his life in Ocala, Florida, he was the son of the late John E. and Camilla Rivenbark Parrish. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Frances Parrish, who died in 1991. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Ocala, Florida.

He is survived by a son, Harold Gene Parrish, of Waynesville, NC; one grandson, David Eugene Parrish, of Waynesville; one sister, Marjorie Dornenburg, of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; and two great grandchildren, William Parrish and Kathryn Parrish, both of Waynesville.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2003 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ocala, Florida with the Reverend David McChesney officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. prior to the service at Hiers Funeral Home of Ocala, Florida.

Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville will be in charge of local arrangements.
