Maggie Valley, Ida Belle Hall, age 97, passed away, Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Macon County and was the daughter of the late James and Elmina Anderson Emory. She was also preceded in death by a son, William; great-grandson, Josh; a brother and a son-in-law. Belle was a member of First Baptist Church of Maggie Valley. She dearly loved the Lord and avidly read her Bible and Sunday School lessons. She loved gardening, quilting and was a member of the Maggie Valley Homemakers Association. She is survived by her husband of 75 years, James Hall, one son, Wayne Hall and his wife Wanda of Hallsville, MO; one daughter, Sara H. Bryant and an adopted daughter, Barbara Tyson, all of Maggie Valley; one sister, Mary Brown of Bryson City; six grandchildren, Ricky Hall and his wife Vicky of Bethel, Pamela Turner and her husband Randy of Waynesville, James E. Hall and his wife Kelli, Kevin Bryant and his wife Lynn, all of Maggie Valley; Randee Jones and her husband Rusty and Wendy Lohse, all of Hallsville, MO; 8 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 20, 2010 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home. Reverend Ricky Mason and Reverend Jerry Nelson will officiate. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday night at the funeral home.
