Inez Pressley

Enka-Inez Miller Pressley, 81, of 2 Linda Vista Drive, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2003 at the Canton Christian Convalescent Center after a brief illness.

She was retired from American Enka Corp.with over 36 years of service and also retired from the Biltmore Square Mall. She was the daughter of the late Steve and Bessie Miller. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Howard Pressley; one sister, Jane Miller Robinson; and one brother, Bobby Miller. She is survived by her daughter, Jo Ann Miller; three sisters; Macie Robinson and Margaret Broom of Hendersonville and Gracie Worley of Canton, and one brother, Harley Miller of Canton. Mrs. Pressley was a native of Buncombe County.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 10, 2003 at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Homes with Reverend Naomi King officiating. Burial will follow at Pisgah View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the home of the brother; Harley Miller, 1097 Beaverdam Road, Canton, NC 28716.
