Irene Starkey

Clyde-Irene Jones Starkey, age 81, of 55 Lansing Lane, died Saturday, May 8, 2004 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Everett Bruce and Doris Vaughan Jones. She was a native of Virginia and was a former resident of Vineland, New Jersey and had resided in Haywood County for the past nine years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Erwin Starkey. She was a retired employee of the Wheaten Glass Company. She is survived by four daughters, Anita Porch and her husband, Charles, of Guffey, Colorado, Judy Gonzalez and her husband, Rolando and JoAnne Reamer, both of Vineland, New Jersey and Sheila Williams and her husband, Walt, of Waynesville; one sister, Jenny Williams, of Kentucky; five brothers, Harold, Charlie, Frank, and Rodger Jones, all of Florida, and Bobby Jones of Ohio; twelve grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 13, 2004 in the Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall of Clyde with Gerald Tronolone officiating. Memorials should be made to one's favorite charity. Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services of Waynesville is in charge of arrangements.
