Irma Sadler

Candler – Irma Hodges Sadler, age 93, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Fleshers Fairview Healthcare. A native of Hyde County, North Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Myrtis and Johnnie Hodges. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph Al Hodges and J. D. Hodges, DDS. Irma was employed by the United States Government for over 30 years. She is survived by her husband of 76 years, Edward Lee Sadler; one daughter, Sue Paschall and Leonard Waycaster of Candler; two grandsons, Dwayne (Ginger) and Dana Paschal; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Margaret Kunkel of Nashville, North Carolina. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2015 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Pastor Nick McDonald officiating.
