Ivalee Burchfield

Waynesville, Ivalee Hoyle Burchfield, age 84, of 136 Lum Boone Circle, died Friday, September 3, 2010 at Autumn Care. She was a native of Jackson County but had lived most of her life in Haywood County. She was the daughter of the late Martin and Parthynia Henry Hoyle and was also preceded in death by her husband, Russell Burchfield in 2005 and a daughter, Patricia Tucker in 2007. She was employed by Buster Brown Textile in Quality Control for 10 years and was a member of Green Valley Baptist Church. Ivalee was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend. She is survived by her son, Larry David Burchfield of Waynesville; one daughter, Brenda Browning and her husband Bud of Nebo, NC; 4 grandchildren; Jennifer Caldwell, Scott Burchfield, Misty Morris and Meghan Bearden and 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2010 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Johnny Swanger officiating. Burial will follow at Buchanan Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
