Jack Arrington

April 16, 1950 — June 17, 2013

Canton, Jack Turner Arrington, age 63, of Mears Avenue, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2013 at Mission Hospital Memorial Campus. A native of Haywood County, he was the son of the late C. Jack and Lillian Turner Arrington. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Arrington. He was a gun fighter and a musician at Ghost Town and had played in several local bands. Jack had a passion for people, especially his family and he enjoyed anything with music. He is survived by two daughters, Jessica and Jasmine Arrington both of Canton; a sister, Mary Parker of Waynesville; a brother, Joe Arrington and his wife, Sherri, of Clyde; four grandchildren, Marcus Smith, Kiery Hardman, Kobe Smith and Elijah Arrington and two nephews, Calan Arrington and Ben Parker. A celebration of life service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 21, 2013 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service at the residence of Kit Gruelle, 828 Hidden Valley Road off Bald Creek Road in Clyde.
