Jackie Hannah

Waynesville, Jackie Marie Grasty Hannah, age 64, formerly of Pitts Street, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at Oceanside Hospice in Ormond Beach, Florida. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Guy and Lois Gibson Grasty. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James "Buddy" Hannah, who died in 1996; one sister, Betty Stamey; and one brother, Howard Grasty. She was a former employee of the The Mountaineer and a member of Barberville Baptist Church. She is survived by two sisters, Mary Sue Singleton, of Waynesville and Dottie Harkins of Ormond Beach, Florida. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 1, 2011 at Green Hill Cemetery with Reverend Wayne Willett and Reverend Charles Magnet officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville. Memorials may be made to the loving staff of Florida Hospital Hospice Care, 2nd Floor, Florida Hospital Oceanside, 264 S. Atlantic Avenue, Ormond Beach, FL 32176.
