Jackie Setzer

Canton - Jackie Sue Setzer, age 51, passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2010. A native of Haywood County, she is the daughter of Gussie Rose Guy Setzer and the late Jack Setzer. Jackie loved her family, gardening, going to ceramic classes and she loved attending her grandsons' ball games. She was a member of Dutch Cove Baptist Church. In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son J. Tyrel Swanger and his wife, Kimberly, of Canton; two sisters, Janice Stamey of Canton and Jerrie Smith of Clyde; one brother, Jeff Setzer of Troy, SC; two grandchildren, Devon and Hunter Swanger and as well as, her beloved Pomeranian, Bailey. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 3, 2010 at Crestview Baptist Church with the Reverend Dan Page officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Bethel Youth Organization, P.O. Box 91, Canton, NC 28716.
