Jacob Browning

June 21, 1951 — December 17, 2005

Waynesville-Jacob Lee "Rooster" Browning, 54 of 586 Kudzu Loop died on Saturday, December 17, 2005 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native of Haywood County, he was the son of Bida Browning and the late John Willie Browning. He was employed as a boiler technician for 13 years by High Temperature Technologies based in Charlotte, NC. In addition to his mother, he is survived by three daughters, Tammy Styles and her husband, David, of Sylva, Debrada Browning of Simpsonville, SC, and Deborah Browning and Daryell Ledford, of Clyde; one son, Timmy Browning of Sylva; three brothers, Johnny Browning and his wife, Karen, and Jimmy Browning, both of Waynesville and Roger Browning and his wife, Patsy, of Lake Junaluska; four grandchildren, John-David and Blake Styles of Sylva and Jordan and Jessica Ledford of Clyde; as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Monday, December 19, 2005 at the residence, 586 Kudzu Loop, Waynesville. Daddy donated his organs to medical science and his remains are ready to be put to rest. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 10, 2006 at Sugar Cove Cemetery with Reverend Clayton Davis officiating. In lieu of flowers, talk to your family about becoming an organ donor.
