Jada Massie

Clyde-Jada Michelle Massie, age 26, of 184 Austin Road, died Sunday, August 3, 2003 at Memorial Mission Hospital.

She was born in Buncombe County and was a former Certified Medical Assistant at Mountain Medical Associates in Clyde. She enjoyed scrap booking, and collected Disney and Beanie Baby characters. She attended Emmanuel Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Anthony Wayne Massie; her mother, Arlene, and her stepfather, Charles Price; maternal grandparents, Bill and Ina Martin of Clyde; stepgrandmother, Fannie Ledford; a stepbrother, Phillip Price, of Waynesville; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wayne and Deborah Massie; and brother-in-laws, Jeremy and Clifford Massie.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 7, 2003 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Billy Ferguson and Reverend Garry Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Jeremy and Clifford Massie, Daryll Ledford, and Brandon Perry. The family will receive friends from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 6, 2003.
