Waynesville, James Henry "Chuck" Hollingsworth II, age 55, died Friday, April 25, 2008 in Pasadena, Texas. He was born in Haywood County and had resided in Texas for most of his life. He was the son of of the late James Henry Hollingsworth, Sr. and Catherine Elizabeth Hargrove Hollingsworth, formerly of Haywood County. Chuck was employed by Brown & Root Construction Company for 31 years and was a current employee of Oates Industry in Deerpark, TX where he was surrounded by many friends. He belonged to the group HOG and he loved fishing, family, friends, karaoke, shuffleboard and especially riding his Harley. Chuck will truly be missed by many. He is survived by three sons, Chuck Hollingsworth and his wife, Amy, of AK, Clint Hollingsworth of Pasadena, TX, and Nicholas Hollingsworth, of LaPorte, TX; one daughter, Angelique Hernandez and her husband, Severo, of Humble, TX; one sister, Melissa Hill and her husband, Ernest, of Laporte, TX; one brother, Marlin Hollingsworth, and his wife, Daneen, of Waynesville; grandmother, Iva Lee Hargrove, of Waynesville; nine grandchildren, Abigail, Jacob, and Anderson Hollingsworth, and Angelina, Teresa, Alexis, Emily, Elizabeth, and Paul Allen Hernandez. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 1, 2008 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Carl Chastain officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends from Noon until 2:00 p.m. prior to services at the funeral home.
