Waynesville-James Lee Price, age 49, of the Lake Junaluska Community, died on Wednesday, November 8, with injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A native and life-long resident of Haywood County, he was the son of Edna Ledford Price and the late Milburn Zimmery Price. A farmer, he enjoyed gardening and loved to fish. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved his cat "Ears." In addition to his mother, he is survived by three sisters, Mary Russell and her husband, Ernest, of Clyde, Dottie Smith of the Bethel Community, and Vivian Jones and her husband, Wilburn, of Leicester; two brothers, Danny Price and his wife, Phyllis of Canton, and Danny Price, Jr. of Whittier; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 13, 2006 at Fines Creek Memorial Baptist Church with Reverend Jimmy Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. on Monday prior to the service at the church and at other times, at the home of Edna Price. Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Grant, Carl Regan, Steven Smith, Shane Lundy, Scotty Jones, and Dustin Price.
