James Revis, Sr.

Waynesville-James Bobby Revis, Sr., age 61, of Shovel Creek Road, died Friday, April 8, 2005, at Haywood Regional Medical Center. He was a native of Charlottesville, Virginia but had lived most of his life in Haywood County. He was the son of Filbert Revis of Candler and the late Ruth Sparks Revis. Mr. Revis worked for 30 years at Bizzack Brothers Construction in Kentucky and was employed by B&B Construction Company. He is survived, in addition to his father, by his wife of 43 years, Martha Cooper Revis; one daughter, Damita Camero and her husband, Edward J. of Elizabethton, KY; two sons, Bobby Revis, Jr. and his wife, Becky Edwards, of Waynesville and Clinton Chase Revis of TN; one sister, Betty Revis Burress, and her husband, Edward, of Bryson City; and four grandchildren, James Koleton and McKenzie Revis, and Damiana and Dawniella Camero. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 11, 2005 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home & Cremation Services with the Reverend Jerry Parks officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Bobby Revis, Edward Camero, Wayne Norman, Michael and Eddie Burress, James Cooper, Jerry Norman, and Edward Burress, Sr. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service, and at other times, will be at the home of the son, Bobby, at 516 Gentian Way, Waynesville.
