James Ruff

James Alfred Ruff, Jr., 55, of Asheville, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2016. A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of James and Betty Jane Banks Ruff.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Ruff, Sr.
James is survived by his mother and step-dad, Betty and Bobby Brigman, significant other, Teresa Thomas; children, Clayton, Jessica and Julia Ruff; grandchildren, Courtney Hampton and Hayleigh Smith; siblings, Anthony, Jeff, Jesse and Shane Ruff and Vicki Sexton and dog, Jake.
The family will receive friends from 2-4PM on Sunday, December 4 at Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn, Candler. A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00pm on Monday, December 5 in the Chapel at Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn, with Rev. Jerry Hensley officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Candler.
