James Shook

Clyde, James Robert "Bobby" Shook, age 56, of Lost Cove Road, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, November 25, 2012 at his residence. A native of Buncombe County, he had lived in Haywood County most of his life. Bobby was a 1974 graduate of Tuscola High School and was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church. He is survived by his parents, George Robert and Emelyn McCracken Shook of Clyde; a son, Geoffry Lee Shook of Clyde; a sister, Betty Jean Butrick and her husband, Daniel, of Canton and a special niece, Dana Butrick. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Charlie Simpson and Reverend Billy Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow at Upper Crabtree Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
