Jane Afterman

Maggie Valley, NC, Jane Lamanna Afterman, age 75, died Sunday, November 16, 2008 at Canton Convalescent Center. A native of Westchester, New York, she was a resident of New Smyrna Beach, Fl before moving to Haywood County six months ago. She was the daughter of the late Michael and Jane McDowell Lamanna. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Afterman; a sister, Anna DiNicola; and a brother, Philip Lamanna, Sr. Jane was of Catholic faith. She is survived by three nephews, Philip Lamanna, and his wife, Patricia, of Maggie Valley, Paul DiNicola and his wife, Jeanne, and Francis DiNicola and his wife, Pat, of New Smyrna Beach, FL; seven nieces, Eileen Poulin and her husband, Greg, of Maggie Valley, Marie Burburgh, Katy Lamanna, Jennifer Fair and her husband, Fred, Angel Cole and her husband, Chuck, Colleen McGovern and her husband, James, all of New Smyrna Beach, Fl and Darcy Kelley of Hartwell, GA; and many great nieces and nephews. A private memorial service will be held at Edgewater New Smyrna Cemetery, Edgewater, FL.
