Janet Caldwell

Janet Phillips Caldwell, age 58, passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2012. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was a daughter of Monroe I. Phillips and the late Peggy Keener Phillips, who died in 2000. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a sister, Beth Mason. Janet was a member of Canton Central United Methodist Church. In addition to her father, she is survived by two daughters, Jessica and Jasmine Arrington, both of Canton; one brother, William Hershel Phillips of Waynesville; and three grandchildren, Marcus and Kobe Smith, and Kiery Hardman. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, November 2, 2012 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Mike Jordan officiating.
