Canton- Lynn Ford House - age 56 - died Thursday, November 9, 2006 at Duke Medical Center. She was a native and life-long resident of Haywood County and daughter of the late Charles William and Geraldine Browning Ford. Lynn had a special place in her heart for Fontana Lake where she enjoyed fishing and relaxing with her family on their house boat. She loved quiet talks with her children and had unconditional love for everyone. Lynn was a member of West Canton Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, George W. House; two daughters, Wendy Hannah and her husband, Travis, of East Flat Rock and Jennifer House of Canton; one son, Jeffrey House and his wife, Misty, of Canton; one sister, Doris Ann Parkey and her husband, Harold, of Candler. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, November 11, 2006 at Wells Funeral Home of Canton. At other times, the family will be at the home of Jeffrey House. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, November 12, 2006 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Matthew Pruett officiating. Burial will follow in Old Thickety Cemetery.
