Jason Putnam

Waynesville, Jason Brant Putnam, age 38, Sutton Town Road, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2014. A native of Haywood County, he is preceded in death by his mother, Frances Franklin Putnam. He was employed at Thunder Disaster Relief and was a member of Cove Creek Baptist Church. Jason loved his job in tree work and also enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He is survived by his father, Charlie Putnam, Jr. and his wife, Martha; his wife of 19 years, Robin Boyce Putnam; three sons, Hunter, Levi, and Tymber Putnam; three brothers, Wess Putnam of Waynesville, Tony and Doug Putnam and his wife, Tammy, all of Indiana; and a step-sister, Kelly Futral, of Waynesville. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 28, 2014 at Cove Creek Baptist Church with Reverend Gary Putnam and Reverend Billy Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow at Suttontown Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Steve Lanning, Jerry Bird, Mark Noland, Ricky Smith, Terry Stepp, and Don Warner. Honorary pallbearers will be Donnie Surrett and Todd Berrong. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
