Jayne Rhinehart

Jayne McCracken Rhinehart, age 69, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at MedWest Haywood. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Hugh Love and Hannah Mae Duckett McCracken. Jayne was a dedicated member of Clyde Central United Methodist Church and for many years, she was very active in the hospitality committee. She will be remembered as a kind, compassionate person always thinking of others before herself. Jayne also was a wonderful cook. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Ray Rhinehart; two sisters, Kittie Smart and her husband, Bob, of Clyde, and Teresa Chason and her husband, David, of Canton; two brothers, Dan McCracken and his wife, Judy, and Bob McCracken and his wife, Judie, all of Clyde; a very special first cousin, Wanda Pee; special niece and nephew, Holly Keller and Wesley Smart; and many other nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Clyde Central United Methodist Church with the Reverend Dan Gaddy and Reverend James Hart officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the services in the fellowship hall of the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Clyde Central United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 8, Clyde, NC 28721. Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services of Canton is in charge of the arrangements.
