Waynesville, Jean Vealey Hall Morrow, age 99, passed away on, Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Autumn Care of Waynesville.

Jean was a native of Michigan and a longtime resident of Haywood County and the daughter of the late Leon and Flora Kuder Vealey.  She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Russell Douglas Hall, who died in 1993, and her second husband, B.J. Morrow who died in 2020; brother, Jack Vealey; and sister, Joyce Root.

Jean retired as a sales associate from Shipley’s Furniture in Asheville and was the owner of Kustom Kraft Draperies in Tecumseh, Michigan and former owner of KOA Campground in the Jonathan Creek community of Waynesville.

She is survived by her daughter, Jan Sterrett, and her husband, Bill, of Waynesville; two sons, Gary Douglas Hall, and his wife, Laurel, of Denver, Colorado, and David Lee Hall, and his wife, Jan, of Waynesville; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Green Hill Cemetery in Waynesville, NC.
