Jearline Failen

Jearline Willard Failen, age 70, died Monday, December 28, 2009, at John F. Keever Jr., Solace Center. A native of Gaston County, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Lydia Hatley Willard. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Ronald Failen, who died in 2008. She is survived by a son, Mitchell Failen; two sisters, Billie Faye Ingram of Gastonia and Alice Elizabeth Williams of Ellenboro; a granddaughter, Jennifer Renee Moody; and a great-granddaughter, Brianna Michelle Moody. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 31, 2009, at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home & Cremation Services with the Reverend Bruce Cayton officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
