Jeffrey Robert Bowman

Jeffrey "Jeff" Robert Bowman, a beloved member of the Buncombe County community, passed away on June 21, 2024, at Mission Hospital. He was born on July 23, 1967, in Buncombe County.

Jeffrey Bowman was a dedicated individual with a passion for education. He graduated from Enka High School in 1986 and went on to touch the lives of many with his knowledge and kindness.

Throughout his life, Jeffrey found joy in his love for horses and was known for his involvement in the Fruit of Labor Church. His caring nature and generous spirit left a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He was the devoted son of the late Maxine Stuart Jarvis. Jeffrey is survived by his three brothers; Jack Bowman of Tennessee, Kevin Arrington (Lisa) of Candler, and Robbie Arrington of Tennessee. He also leaves behind three nephews; Matt Bowman, Tyler Arrington, and Tyler Ferguson; as well as one niece, Tristan Morris. His memory will be cherished by his three great nieces: Gracie, Rylee, and Charlotte.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 27, 2024, in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Willie Warren officiating. Burial will follow at Bon-A-Venture Cemetery, Old Clyde Road. A visitation to honor Jeffrey's life will be held from 12:45 PM until 1:45 prior to the service at the funeral home. Jeffrey "Jeff" Robert Bowman will be dearly missed but fondly remembered for his warmth and compassion that touched countless hearts throughout his life. May he rest in peace.
