Jeffrey J. Vanlandingham

Canton-Jeffrey J. Vanlandingham, age 38, of Blue Vista Road, died Wednesday, June 4, 2003.

A native of Belleville, Illinois, he was employed as a motorcycle specialist and enthusiast.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Barbara and Jack Veghte of Canton; his father and stepmother, Don and Carol Vanlandingham of Napierville, Illinois; a daughter, Kirstin Lea Vanlandingham of Canton; a son, Jeffrey John Vanlandingham, Jr. of Treasure Island, Florida; a sister, Teresa Vanlandingham, of Waynesville; one stepsister, Melissa Veghte, of Atlanta, Georgia; and three stepbrothers, John, Richard, and David Veghte of Clearwater, Florida.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2003 at St. John's Catholic Church of Waynesville with Father Dennis McGowan officiating. A visitation will begin at Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville on Saturday following the services from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. Interment will be at 1:30 p.m. at Green Hill Cemetery. At other times, the family will be at the home of the mother and stepfather, 634 Blue Vista Road, Canton, NC.
