Jennie Christopher

Waynesville, Jennie Hartsell Christopher, age 83, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Margie Robinson Hartsell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Christopher who passed away in 2000. Jennie loved spending time in her garden and visiting with her friends. She is survived by her aunt, Ruth Wyatt of Waynesville; two special caretakers, Gary Gladden and his wife, Regina, and Pauline Creasman all of Waynesville; and several special cousins. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2011 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Greg Cullen officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
