Jenny Knight

Jenny Ruby Knight, age 83, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2014 at her residence. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Nola Sisk Knight. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Adam R. Knight and Vernon J. Knight and a sister, Annie Virginia Knight. Jenny was a graduate of Canton High School and an active member of Canton Presbyterian Church. She retired from Taylor Instruments in Arden with over 30 years of service. She is survived by a brother, Wallace S. Knight and his wife, Ruth, of Canton; two sisters-in-law, Doris Burnette and her husband, Max, of Canton and Faye Knight of Birmingham Alabama; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 14, 2014 at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Esta Jarrett officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Community Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Canton Presbyterian Church, P. O. Box 784, Canton, NC 28716.
