Jerry Evans

Spring Branch, TX – Jerry Evans, age 76, died Saturday, January 9, 2010 in New Braunfels, TX. A native of Haywood County, he was a son of the late Walter and Anna Bell Schenck Evans. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 44 years, Jo Ann Rowe Evans, who died in 1996. He is survived by a son, Allen Evans of Pasadena, TX; two daughters, Nancy Evans Hanley and her husband, Mike, of Spring Branch, TX, and Cheryl Evans Holbrook and her husband, Terry, of Federal Way, WA; one grandson, Jerry Hanley and his wife, Allison, of Minneapolis, MN; two granddaughters, Lauren Hulsey of Federal Way, WA, and Sydnie Hulsey of Okanogan, WA; and one great-granddaughter, Olivia Pacheco of Federal Way, WA. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Bon-A-Venture Cemetery on Old Clyde Road with Reverend Tim Drum officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. prior to the service at Wells Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Canton.
