Jerry Hall

Clyde, Jerry Stephen Hall, age 73, passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville. A native of Haywood County, he was the son of the late Arlie Jack and Ruth Elizabeth Suttles Hall. Jerry retired from Dayco Corporation with 37 years' service and was a United States Navy veteran. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carolyn Ferguson Hall; a daughter, Karen Luciene Hall of Clyde; a son, Jerry Stephen "Steve" Hall, Jr. and his wife, Barbara, of Prosperity, South Carolina; a sister, Sharon Kirkpatrick and her husband, Paul, of Clyde; his twin brother, Jack Hall and his wife, Judy, of Clyde; a sister-in-law, Glenna Ferguson of Waynesville; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p-.m. on Friday, November 23, 2012 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Alan Davis and Reverend David A. Williams officiating. Inurnment will follow at Garrett Hillcrest Memorial Park with military honors. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
