Jerry Roberts

Jerry William Roberts, age 48, died Tuesday, May 31, 2005 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. He was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and the son of J. C. "Dusty" and Mildred Surrett Roberts of Canton. He was employed with H.V.O. and a member for Canton First United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he is survived by three sisters, Madeleine Bennett of Canton, Diane Brenner of High Point and Linda Carol Roberts of Lucedale, MS; and a niece Dorinda Bennett of Landrum, SC. Funeral services will be at 4:00 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2005 at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services with the Reverend Alice Day officiating. Burial will follow at Bon-A-Venture Cemetery, Old Clyde Road. The family will receive friends from 2:30 - 4:00 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
