Jerry Wiggins

Canton, Jerry Lee Wiggins, 73, passed away Saturday morning, October 26, 2019 at Pardee Hospital.

A native of Haywood County, Jerry was the son of the late Millard and Helen Pardue Wiggins.

Mr. Wiggins was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was a former employee at Pet Dairies and worked for Champion International for 20 years. Fishing on Lake Fontana was his passion.

Left to cherish the memory of Mr. Wiggins are one son, John Wiggins, and his partner, Kali Putnam of Waynesville; one daughter, Pamela Irvin, and her husband, Sean of Canton; one brother, Gerald Wiggins, and his wife, Gail of Canton; and three granddaughters, Madison, Tayler and Maleah.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, October 28, 2019 at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Kenneth Rhinehart officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Bon-A-Venture Cemetery.
