Jesse Moore

Waynesville, Jesse Graham Moore, 86, of Westwood Circle, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2016. A native of Haywood County, he was the son of the late Tommy Lee and Della Free Moore and was also preceded in death by two sons, Harold and Irvin; four brothers and two sisters. Jesse retired from Lea Industries after 26½ years employment and was a member of Mission Baptist Church. He loved his friends and family, especially the grandkids. He also enjoyed spending time in his garden. Jesse is survived by his wife of 53 years, Margaret Ann Wyatt Moore; three daughters, Susie Rogers (Billy Ray), Judy Gentry and Martha Young (Tommy); two sons, Robbie Moore (LuSihl) and Tim Moore; six sisters, Mary Speagle, Bessie Payne, Ruth Messer, Patsy Weaver, Ethel Watts and Arlene Price; six brothers, T.L., George, David, Andrew, Charles and Kenneth Moore; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Kenneth Rhinehart officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
