Jessica Martin

Jessica Lynn "Jessie" Martin, age 20, passed away at MedWest-Haywood. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of Debbie Robinson and the late Bobby Lynn Martin. She was also preceded in death by an aunt, Angie Shuler and her great grandmother, Jimmie White Sutton. Jessie was and will forever be a princess to those that knew her. Her most precious treasure was her son, Dillon. She will forever be in the hearts and minds of her friends and family. She is survived by a son, Dillon Palen of Canton; her stepfather, Matt Robinson of Canton; maternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Linda Buchanan and Papaw Dickie of Waynesville; and maternal grandfather, Coleman Greene of Canton; paternal grandmother, Peggy Martin of Maggie Valley; step grandfather, Reverend Jack Robinson of Waynesville; and great grandmother, Frances Rhinehart of Waynesville; two sisters, Nicole Hyatt and her husband, Blake, of Canton and Crystalyn Newberry Jackson and her husband, Clyde, of Waynesville; a brother, Seth Martin of Cherokee; three aunts, Kymberly Quinn of Waynesville, Pamula "Umma" Martin-Crowe and her husband, Josh, of Waynesville, and Ginger Revis and her husband, Kevin, of Canton; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 15, 2011, at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home & Cremation Services with the Reverend Steve Rhinehart, Reverend Kenneth Rhinehart, and Reverend Jack Robinson officiating. A eulogy will be given by Pam Martin-Crowe. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the residence of Debbie & Matt Robinson and Peggy Martin.
