Jessie Herren

CANDLER, Jessie Mason Herren, 83, died Saturday, February 2, 2008, at Hominy Valley Retirement Center in Candler. She is survived by two daughters, Vivian Brady of Oak Island, NC, and Dinah Trammel of Candler; two sisters, Lucinda Taylor and Ludene Davis, both of Candler; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Monday, February 4, 2008, at Forest Lawn Chapel of Faith with Reverend Phillip Hurst officiating. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon prior to the service at Forest Lawn Chapel of Faith. Memorials may be made to Eliada Home for Children, P.O. Drawer 1708, Asheville, NC 28816 or to one's favorite charity.
