Jessie Hoglen

Leicester – Jessie Robertson Hoglen, 74, passed away on January 1, 2021 at Memorial Campus of Mission Hospital.

Jessie was a native of Haywood County and a daughter of the late William Gaston and Savannah Lusk Robertson.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Dickie and Ralph Robertson; and a sister, Mary Alice Robertson.  Jessie retired from the WNC Baptist Retirement Home which she dearly loved.  She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Dancing was also something that she enjoyed doing.

She is survived by three daughters, Mary Alice Waites, Karen Hoglen and Pam Baker; two sons, Jeff and Anthony Hoglen; one sister, Wanda (Bud) Haynes; one brother, Bill (Velda) Robertson; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Teague’s Chapel Cemetery with the Reverend Wyllene Skipper officiating.
