Jimmie Fagan

Jimmie Clifford Fagan, age 76, died on Tuesday, January 25, 2011, at his residence. A native of Buncombe County, he was the son of the late Clifford and Ruby Wise Fagan. Jimmie in his younger years enjoyed dancing and bowling with the love of his life, Betty. He was a United States Navy veteran. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Betty "Louise" Fagan and three brothers, Ronnie Fagan and his wife, Nancy, of Hendersonville, Jerry Fagan and his wife, Carolyn, of Asheville, and Mike Fagan and his wife, Linda, of Arden. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 30, 2011, at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend James M. Armstrong officiating. Entombment will follow at The Horizon at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:30 p.m. prior to the service.
