Jimmie Lance

Jimmie Dale Lance, Sr. 81, of Marshall, died Monday, June 12, 2017. A native of Asheville, he was the son of the late John Kimsey Lance and Texie Ann Taylor Lance. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Kimsey Lance and brother, Bill Lance.
He is survived by his daughter, Serena Ann Lance; son, Jimmie Dale Lance, Jr.; grandchildren, Serena Russ, Stephen, Daniel, Christopher, and Zech Lance, Joshua, Caleb, and Isaac West; and sister, Barbara Lance.
The family will receive friends in the Moore Funeral Home Chapel of Faith on Thursday, June 15 from 5:00-7:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, June 16 in the Moore Funeral Home Chapel of Faith. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Candler.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
