Jimmie Mann

Jimmie "Red" Mann, age 80, died Friday, March 02, 2012 at her residence. A native of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Ava Saunders Freeman. Jimmie was a very active member of Plains United Methodist Church and worked for Dr. Robert K. Harpe as an office assistant for 25 years. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jim Mann; two sons, James Lewis Mann, Jr. and Jeffrey Michael Mann, both of Canton; one brother, Joseph Loly Freeman, Jr. of Canton; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Plains United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Ryan Snider officiating. Wells Funeral Home of Canton is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Plains United Methodist Church Choir Fund, (whom she loved dearly) P.O.
