Jimmie Ray Brown

Jimmie Ray Brown, 85, of Asheville passed away on Friday, December 25, 2020 at Memorial Mission Hospital.

A native of Jackson County, he was son of the late Noble and Maude Martin Brown.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Leonard Brown.

Mr. Brown served in the United States Army during Korea.  He worked at Fox Barber Shop on Patton Avenue for 20 years.

He is survived by his son, Jeffrey Brown and grandson, Cody Brown both of Raleigh, NC.

A private graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 1 Chapel of Faith Drive, Candler, NC.  Rev. Eric Sutton will officiate.

The care of Mr. Brown has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Homes.
