Waynesville-Jimmy Neal Browning of Maxwell Street, age 42, died Saturday, September 29, 2007 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. He was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and was preceded in death by his father, John Browning who died in 1998 and a brother, Jacob Lee Browning. Jimmy loved nothing more than spending time with his granddaughter. They would spend countless hours playing at Glenville Lake and he also had a special place in his heart for his dog, Hoss. He was a straight shooter, a Harley man and cared dearly for his family and friends. He is survived by his companion of 23 years, Karen Warren; his mother, Bida Browning of Waynesville; two stepsons Adam Warren of Waynesville and Jason Warren of Clyde; two brothers, Johnny Browning and his wife, Karen and Roger Browning and his wife, Patsy, all of Waynesville; two nephews, Chancey and Tim Browning; four nieces, April Browning, Debbie Ledford, Debrada Browning and Tammy Styles; two grandchildren, Jade Warren and Alexis Nichole Warren, who will be born in February. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at Sugar Cove Cemetery with Clayton Davis officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville. At other times, the family will be at the residence of Bida Browning
