Jo Norris

Clyde - Jo Ann Webb Norris, age 69, of 81 Allen Street, died Monday, March 5, 2007 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. She was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and the daughter of the late Ralph and Delitha Gibson Webb. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Norris who died in 1985. She was employed with Haywood Regional Medical Center as a sterilization specialist. She is survived by two brothers, James C. Webb and his wife, Sarah, of Canton and Robert E. Webb of Spartanburg, SC; and two step-children, Laura Ann Norris of KY and James M. Norris, Jr., of McKenzie, TN. She will be greatly missed by several nieces and nephews. Entombment services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 8, 2007 at The Horizon at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Harold Webb officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Wells Funeral Home of Canton. At other times, the family will be at 490 Phillipsville Loop, Canton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Disease Association, Western Carolina Chapter, 31 College Place, Ste D320, Asheville, NC 28801-2644 or to National Osteoporosis Foundation, 1232 22nd Street N.W., Washington, DC 20037-1292.
