Jo Robinson

Jo Anna Robinson, age 74, of the Thickety Community passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2011, at Smoky Mountain Health and Rehabilitation Center. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Carroll and Helen Best McCracken. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Robinson, who died in 1988. Jo Anna was employed by First Union Bank for over thirty years and was a member at Rockwood United Methodist Church. She is survived by a son, Mitch Robinson and his wife, Karen; a brother, John McCracken and his wife, Terry, of Waynesville; a grandson, Matthew Robinson; a nephew, Nick McCracken and his wife, Bronwyen; a niece, Kellye Lynn McCracken; a great-nephew, Caleb Richie, and a great-niece, Brenna Elizabeth McCracken. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 28, 2011, at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Bruce Cayton officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Burial will be at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
