Joan Brookshire

"1950 – 2017" Candler – Joan Collins Brookshire, 66, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2017 at CarePartners Hospice Solace Center. A native of the Woodfin community, she was a daughter of the late Garland and Gilda Rutledge Collins. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Roger Brookshire; two daughters, Holly Brookshire-Mannworley of Candler and Sheena Brookshire DeLoach of Houma, Louisiana; one son, Ronald Brookshire of Florida; one sister, Joy Justice of Asheville; and four granddaughters, Jazmine, Madison, Laurie, and Emily. Family and friends may visit at the residence on Friday, June 9, 2017. Wells Funeral Home of Canton is in charge of the arrangements.
