Joan Rhinehart

"1933-2016" Clyde – Joan Hutchins Rhinehart, age 83, passed away on August 30, 2016 at St. Joseph Campus in Asheville. A native of Madison County, she was the daughter of the late Garner and Cleota Davis Hutchins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Rhinehart, who passed away in 1994 and a sister, Carol Rickman. Joan enjoyed gardening and cooking and was a member of High Street Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Morrisette and her husband, Steve, of Denver, NC; a son Thomas Forrest Rhinehart of Clyde; a sister, Garnette Sprinkle of Mars Hill; and two grandchildren, William Matthew Morrisette of Huntersville, NC and Richard Issac Morrisette of Redding, California. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at High Street Baptist Church with the Reverend Christopher Willett officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday at Wells Funeral Home of Canton.
