Joan Snyder

Joan Kinsland Snyder, age 79, died Sunday, April 5, 2009, at Memorial Campus in Asheville. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Maud Bowen Kinsland. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Krisa formerly of Brentwood, MD and Greta Kershow of Hysperia, CA. She was a retired cosmetologist with Winner's Beauty Salon in Asheville. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Robert H. "Bob" Snyder, two sisters, Patricia Burnette of Candler and Barbara Penn of Rockville, MD; five nephews, four nieces; three grandnephews; and six grandnieces. A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2009, at Bon-A-Venture Cemetery, Old Clyde Road with the Reverend Jack W. Collins officiating. Wells Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Canton is in charge of arrangements. At other times the family will be at the residence of Doyce and Pat Burnette, 191 Morgan Cove Road, Candler.
