Joann Scott

JoAnn Ball Scott, age 65, of the Beaverdam Community went home to be with the Lord and her Mom on Thursday, February 23, 2006 at her residence. She was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and the daughter of the late Allen and Bessie Gibson Ball. She was preceded in death by a sister, Viola Ball. She was a homemaker and enjoyed doing crafts and was a wonderful mother to her family. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. In addition to her husband of 45 years, Roy L. Scott, she is survived by two daughters, Shelia Aldridge and her husband, Jon, and Kandace Scott of Canton; three sons, Allen Scott and his girlfriend, Laura Devlin, Kenneth Scott and his wife, Brenda, and Odel Scott and his wife, Tanya, all of Canton; three sisters, Virginia Packett of Maggie Valley, Juanita Mull of Waynesville and Barbara Stafford of Black Mountain; two stepchildren, Roy Scott, Jr. of Swannanoa and Debbie Gaddy of Asheville as well as eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2006 at Wells Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Canton.
