Jody Brown

Jody Lee Brown, age 34, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 in Sylva. He was born in Buncombe County and had lived in Haywood County all of his life. He was a member of North Canton Baptist Church and formerly employed with PPM Industrial Contractors. He is survived by a son, Tanner Brown of the home; his mother and step-father, Kathy Ingle Harman and Perry Harman of Falling Water, WV; his father and step-mother, Kevin Pal Brown and Angie Brown of Clyde; paternal grandparents, Virgil and Novella Brown of Canton; maternal grandmother; Mary Lou Milner and her husband, Dewayne Milner of Canton; maternal grandfather, Roy Ingle, Jr. of Canton; a brother, Shane Brown of Canton; a step-brother, Austin Emerson of Canton; a uncle Bruce Ingle and his wife, Whitney of Richmond, VA; two aunts, Brenda Singleton and Linda Craig of Canton; and a very special niece and nephew, Lucas and Shaina Brown. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 28, 2011, at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services with the Reverend Mark Caldwell and Reverend James A. Meadows officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Inurnment will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 31st at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. At other times, the family will be at the homes of Elizabeth Boone, Trammell Avenue and Kevin and Angie Brown, 86 Rolling Wood Drive, Clyde.
