Joey Brackett

Joey Lee Brackett, 57, of Asheville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 27, 2015. A native of Buncombe County, he was the son of the late Albert Lee Brackett and Mary Ann Wells. He had a heart of gold and will be missed by all who knew him. He loved to fish and always helped people.
He is survived by his daughter, Christie Brackett and granddaughter, Gabrielle Lewis, of Virginia; two sisters, Joyce Fairchild and Cheryl Wells, two brothers, Arthur Hyatt and Bobby Hyatt; aunt, Betty Baily; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00PM on Monday, August 31st in the Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn Chapel of Faith with the family receiving friends for 2 hours before the service. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Candler.
