John Culverwell

Waynesville-John Culverwell, age 88, of Cardinal Lane, died Sunday, August 15, 2004 at Autumn Care Nursing Home. He was a native of Bristol, England and was the son of the late Herbert Nathaniel and Gertrude Mary Culverwell. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Robbie Holley. He was a Market Director and exporter for a wine company. He was a former officer of the British Royal Navy. He is survived by his son, Peter Culverwell of Bath, England; his friends Linda and Wendell Ferguson of Waynesville; his sister-in-law, Doris Holley of Waynesville; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 18, 2004 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services. The Reverend Dr. W. T. Medlin, Jr. will officiate.
