John Keith

"1983 – 2016" Candler – John "Matthew" Keith, age 32, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 1, 2016. A native of Haywood County, he was the son of Terry and Barbara Clark Keith. Matthew was a mechanic and co-owner of Carolina Transmissions in Asheville. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, making music and spending time with his family and friends. Matthew attended Pinnacle Church in Canton and served for many years on the Mountain Ridge Chrysalis Board. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of ten years, Katherine Lowe Keith; a daughter, Madison Grace; one sister Misty Keith Plemmons and her husband, Nick, of Canton; two very special nieces, Kristen Queen and Morgan Plemmons; his second parents gained by marriage, Jim and Jody Lutz Lowe of Candler; sister-in-law, Jessica Lowe Ferguson and husband, Andy, of Marion; and a special friend that was like a brother, Matthew Miller and wife, Becca. A celebration of life service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 6, 2016 at Pinnacle Church in Canton with the Reverend Heath Davis officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:30 until 6:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church. A graveside service will be held on at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Bon-A-Venture Cemetery, Old Clyde Road. Memorials may be made to Mountain Ridge Chrysalis, P.O.
